TRADITIONAL HOUSE: «IDILI» Category: Hotels The mansion Idili is located at Panormo, a picturesque seaside resort with a proper sustainable touristic development, situated between the cities of Rethymnon and Heraklion, in the northern seashore of Crete. Idili is an exquisite two-storey stone mansion -with verandas and garden- built in the turn of the 19th century. Recently restored as a traditional B’ class guesthouse, Idili has kept intact its architectural characteristics of the Venetian–Cretan era (such as arches, wooden ceilings, fireplaces, a wine press). It consists of three apartments, namely, the “Honeysuckle” (“Hagioklema”), the “Hyacinth” and the “Jasmine”, using wooden lofts for bedrooms, and equipped with traditional Cretan furniture and antiques, embroideries and pictures depicting the folklore of the island.
